this year we were so lucky to be able to go to california after christmas with my family. we spent three days at amusement parks {with a basketball game thrown in}, one day at the beach and sightseeing, and one day of shopping for the girls and the rose bowl for the guys. it was such a great trip! i loved being with my family and may have shed a few tears when i hugged them goodbye. i worried beforehand that i would feel left out not going on the rides, but i had such a great time. we filled our days with so much fun i am going to have to split this post into several parts.
day 1: traveling and knott's berry farm
when i saw this crazy roller coaster i wanted to ride so badly
i felt a teeny bit sorry for myself
i still want to go... someday...when my baby won't be at risk
it seriously looked like a good time
luckily my mom was not all about the crazy rides, so we sat on a bench and talked
and then hopped on the train
hanging out with her made me feel better about missing out
the authentic train ride was complete with bad-guys attempting to hold up passengers...it was a good time.
1 little notes:
I've only been to Knott's Berry once and my favorite was the Ghost Rider one (I think that's what it was called)! The only problem with Knotts Berry is that there are so many of the fast, stomach-churning rides, that at the end of the day, I felt nauseous!!! It was worth it though!!
